Note to future travelers!!

If you are like me and clean your vehicle before you go anywhere. Don't vacuum it at a sad looking car wash. I went to 3 different vacuums and got no suction.. NONE!!! (well ok, a little bit, but it was terrible)

Go to a posh neighbor hood... and find their car wash. Maybe they actually take care of it, and their vacuums :(

New Years Eve!!!

Today is the last day of 2011. What am i spending it doing... cleaning, laundry and packing. Sadly no parties for me tonight. Probably good, because it's not even noon and i'm exhausted. It seems like my list keeps getting longer.

Yesterday didn't help matters. Had hoped that the only thing the truck needed was to get the oil changed.. HAH!! Had to replace the back breaks, calipers etc. etc. etc. But at least now it's ready to go. I just need to clean it out. And when i clean something.. I CLEAN it. So that's on the list today too.

I am really just trying to prepare the house not only for New Years Day (family is coming over again), but also for the months i will be gone. I don't want to leave my husband with a huge mess to worry about. Though, i refuse to talk about my sewing room. I am just keeping the door closed. :)

Alrighty, back to work :)

Wow.. that's a lot of pink

So my hair is any variety of colors. Usually some sort of pink, purple, blonde.. and the original brown thrown in at the roots. Today i bleached out my roots.... again..lol So the brown is gone. I decided to streak the blonde with atomic pink. Yeah, that didn't stay where it was supposed to. SO now.. i have waayyy more pink than i expected. I need to wrap my brain around that one, because it's not what i expected.

Anyways.. the truck had it's oil changed. And there was mention about breaks needing redone. Yay : /
I need to clean it out. I need to find some tubs to pack clothes and projects in. I need to pull out of the pantry what i'm taking. And i NEED to find Jasmine's food and water bowls. I have my work cut out for me :)

And so it begins.. again

For the next few days I will be hurriedly packing. I leave behind my husband, family, home and furry babies. I start working in theatre again. Which means traveling around, but this time, I'm doing it my way. I'm bringing Jasmine, my Pug.

This blog has a purpose: To document my travels, adventures, what I'm making and how I'm feeling. Some of it will be through Jasmine's view as well. We can't leave her out of this :)

I'd say she helped pick out the blog page.. but really, she's asleep on my lap... drooling
