So we've been here for a week and a half. The first week of work is almost done. Im exhausted!! But extremely happy with everything. The apt is awesome. The job is even more awesome!!
The first show we are working on is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. We are making fabric suspenders and a few super simple hats. So i've done a few mockups and am waiting on fabric. What the big task right now is to clean up hat stock. Over the summer rats infested the hat stock in the warehouse. We've been able to salvage most of the hats. Its a very wet process to clean them. I smell of lysol and bleach... Yuuummm!!
We've washed most of them at this point... setting most of the felt hats back to blanks that we can re-pull. Which, in a way, is good. They were mostly destressed and beaten in hats.
